Arizona man arrested in murder case
One Kingman man was arrested Thursday, and another is being sought, in a 16-month old murder case.
Mohave County Sheriff Tom Sheahan said Casey Fessenden, 38, was jailed on first degree murder and conspiracy charges.
The same charges have been filed against Norman Corley, 36, who has not yet been located, Sheahan said.
The sheriff said both men are thought to have opened fire after Christopher Gillespie was delivered to a remote location just outside Kingman, where he was ambushed in April 2010.
Gillespie, 37, of Kingman, died of four gunshot wounds.
Detectives think a debt dispute triggered the killing, Sheahan said. Detective Randy McNally said the recovery of one of the murder weapons in June and ballistics analysis provided the evidence needed to bring charges against the suspects.
