Sites let Papillon Airways add to foreign language services
Papillon Airways has added Portuguese and Russian websites to its lineup of foreign language services.
Papillon, which runs aerial and ground tours to the Grand Canyon and helicopter flightseeing trips over the Strip, already spells out booking information in seven languages, including English. The recorded narratives with tours come in a dozen languages.
With Portuguese, Papillon taps Brazil, which it considers a fast-growing market.
Papillon and other flight tour companies have long depended heavily on foreign visitors. Many of the visitors are taking a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the West, so they tend to stay longer and buy more side activities, surveys by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority show.
Americans, by contrast, will make separate trips of Las Vegas and Arizona.
