What books are most popular with Las Vegas library users?
The Review-Journal compiled rankings showing which titles were checked out the most across the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District’s 25 branches between April 2021 and April 2022.
Library officials provided data allowing us to create Top Five book lists for children, teens and adults, which are further classified by the most popular titles in fiction, nonfiction and graphic novels. We also list the most popular books for early readers, ages 4 to 6.

The library district carries hardcover or paperback versions of all the books in our compilation. Icons in the Top Five lists indicate if the title is also available as an eBook or audiobook, and if it’s part of a larger series. To learn how to check out a book, simply click on the icon underneath the title.
The library district’s collection spans more than 3.2 million items that include books, music and movies.
In instances where a book series appeared multiple times in the same category’s Top Five list, we only included the series’ most popular title. Our rankings measure checkouts for hardcover and paperback books.
Each of the titles on the most popular lists is eligible for the library district’s Summer Challenge, where children and teens can earn prizes by logging their reading time and completing other activities. The challenge runs through July 31, 2022.
