Allegiant Air plans Champaign, Ill., flights
Allegiant Air, a Las Vegas-based discount carrier said Tuesday that it plans to begin flying between Las Vegas and Willard Airport in Champaign, Ill., starting Aug. 16.
In a statement, the airline said it plans service on Thursdays and Sundays from Willard. The airline said it will use full-size MD-80 jets on the route.
Allegiant Air is a unit of Allegiant Travel Co.
