Commission delays hearing on tavern ordinance changes
The Clark County Commission has delayed a public hearing into proposed changes to the tavern ordinance by two weeks.
The hearing, originally set for Tuesday, will now take place at
11:30 a.m. on April 5 at the Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway.
The ordinance changes could affect the operations of Dotty’s, a tavern operator that has expanded throughout Nevada since entering the market in 1995.
Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak said Dotty’s representatives objected to the wording in the business impact statement. County officials are redrafting the language and will give interested parties more time to draft ordinance-change suggestions.
