Table games in Maryland won’t happen in 2010
Maryland won’t be joining Pennsylvania and Delaware in the table games market this year.
The state’s governor told media he’s not going to ask lawmakers to debate legalizing table games during the upcoming legislative session.
Maryland legalized slot machines in five locations in 2007, but licenses have been approved in only three of the sites.
In the past month, lawmakers in both Pennsylvania and Delaware legalized table games for the states’ slot machine-only casinos.
