Table game maker Galaxy Gaming approved by Colorado regulators to expand presence in state
Las Vegas-based table game maker Galaxy Gaming, Inc. said Monday it was approved by the Colorado Gaming Control Commission to place new table game products and gaming management systems in the state.
Galaxy officials said the approval will allow the company to expand its presence in the state. Some 20 state-regulated casinos in Colorado offer live table games. Galaxy Gaming’s proprietary table games will be offered in 17 of the properties.
"Many of the operators have been awaiting this recent approval, which will serve as a catalyst for a rapid expansion of Galaxy Gaming’s products in Colorado,” Dean Barnett, Galaxy Gaming’s Regional Sales Manager for said in a statement.
Last week, Galaxy announced an expansion of its presence in Pennsylvania’s casino market.
Galaxy Chief Executive Officer Robert Saucier the company is awaiting approval of additional products in Colorado that could offer additional sales in 2013.
“We have certain specialized products that dovetail perfectly into the Colorado casino operators’ needs,” Saucier said.
