Peckman resigns from Shuffle Master board
Shuffle Master Gaming’s former Interim Chief Executive Officer Phillip Peckman resigned his seat on the company’s board of directors last week.
Peckman had been a member of the Las Vegas-based company’s board June 2007, including serving as interim chairman. He took over as interim CEO early last year following the death of CEO Tim Parrott.
In November, longtime Shuffle Master executive David Lopez took over as interim CEO from Peckman.
In a statement, Shuffle Master said Peckman decided to pursue other business opportunities and to concentrate his efforts in those endeavors.
Peckman is expected to provide consulting services to table game maker for nine months.
"The board deeply appreciates Phillip Peckman’s service both as a board member and as an interim chief executive officer during an important time for the company," Shuffle Master Chairman Garry Saunders said.
