Nevada gaming regulators sign deal with British online gaming authorities
Online gambling publications are reporting an agreement between the Nevada Gaming Control Board and the British-based Alderney Gambling Control Commission, an Internet gambling regulatory body for the British Channel Islands.
The agreement would lay the framework for cooperation between the two regulatory bodies.
Nevada gaming regulators and Alderney officials would share information and skills. Visits will be exchanged between the two bodies.
“We are looking forward to working with Nevada Gaming Control Board in the areas of investigations, compliance and developing technical standards,” André Wilsenach, chief executive officer of the Alderney Gambling Control Commission told eGaming Review.
Nevada gaming regulators are currently looking into the suitability of 888 Gaming, a company that operates online gaming sites in Britain for Caesars Entertainment, including a site based on the World Series of Poker.
