Lerner named to Nevada Cancer Institute board
Union Gaming Group Principal Bill Lerner has been appointed to the board of directors of the Nevada Cancer Institute.
Lerner spent 14 years on Wall Street as a financial research analyst. In 2006, he moved the Deutsche Bank gaming research division to Las Vegas to be closer to the casino industry.
Last year, Lerner and several partners formed Union Gaming Group as a research and advisory firm for the gaming industry.
“Bill brings a strong understanding of the financial markets, the economy, and their impacts on Nevada to Nevada Cancer Institute,” board chairman Stephen Cloobeck said in a statement. “His experience will aid our board and the institute in continuing to grow and meet the cancer care needs of Nevadans.”
