IGT CEO Patti Hart inducted into Illinois State University Hall of Fame

International Game Technology Chief Executive Officer Patti Hart was inducted recently into to the Hall of Fame of her alma mater, Illinois State University.
Hart has been CEO of IGT since April 2009 and a member of the company’s board of directors since June 2006. She graduated from Illinois State with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and economics.
Scott Johnson, dean of the College of Business, presented Hart with the award last month during Hall of Fame Day, which was part of the Normal, Ill., university’s business week.
Hart was recognized for her professional accomplishments and commitment to excellence in leadership. She currently serves on the board of directors of Yahoo! Inc. and the American Gaming Association.
Before joining IGT, Hart served as CEO of two California-based technology companies.
Milledge Hart, her husband, and her nephew Marc Stone, a student at Illinois State, joined Hart at the awards ceremony.
