Four join American Gaming Association board
The American Gaming Association elected four members to the board of directors of the Washington D.C. based lobbying organization.
Las Vegas Sands President Michael Leven and Pinnacle Entertainment Chief Executive Officer Anthony Sanfilippo were elected to terms on the board for the first time.
Shuffle Master CEO Tim Parrott and William Newby, managing director and head of gaming and leisure investment banking for the Americas at UBS Investment Bank, were also elected to the board. Parrott and Newby both previously served on the board representing different companies.
“These men bring a wealth of experience in all sectors of the gaming industry from casino operations and financing to gaming equipment manufacturing,” American Gaming Association President Frank Fahrenkopf Jr. said in a statement. “I know that their knowledge and insight will be invaluable in guiding the AGA.”
