Bally Technologies makes firm’s ‘Pick Six’
Wall Street investment house Morgan Joseph & Co. surveyed its analysts across all business sectors to come up with what it called its “six best investment ideas.”
On the list, along with defense contractor FLIR Systems and movie theater company IMAX Corp. is slot machine maker Bally Technologies.
Morgan Joseph analyst Justin Sebastiano recommended Las Vegas-based Bally, citing the potential for increased slot machine sales next year.
It is widely speculated that Nevada-based slot makers will increase revenues because casino operators will begin replacing older slot machines. Meanwhile, several states are considering gaming expansion to help reduce budget deficits.
