Lexus of Las Vegas a Green Vehicle Zone Sponsor
Lexus of Las Vegas, a Green Vehicle Zone sponsor, will be showcasing and explaining the fuel efficiency of the 2016 Lexus line of hybrid vehicles at the seventh annual GreenFest Earth Day festival in Downtown Summerlin from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today. The event is free to the public.
Lexus fuel-efficient hybrid vehicles average 40 miles per gallon, compliments of their sophisticated Hybrid Drive Systems. By combining and reallocating power from the battery-powered electric motor, regenerative braking system and engine, the system is designed to deliver instantaneous power when you need it, while recharging the battery when you don’t.
“Lexus has six generations of proven technology standing behind our hybrid vehicles — a reassurance you simply can’t get from any other automaker,” said Paul Hunter, public relations manager at Lexus of Las Vegas. “I’m extremely impressed with the 2016 Lexus line of vehicles. I look forward to describing them to the public at this year’s festival. I’ll be explaining how fuel efficient they are and how much fun and reliable Lexus hybrid vehicles are to drive.”
GreenFest brings together several of Southern Nevada’s sustainable community leaders in one location to inform and educate the public. Environmentally conscious professional organizations, businesses, community leaders, residents and municipalities will be together again this year for one collaborative celebration in honor of national Earth Day.
Festivities will include live entertainment, food and drinks, a kids’ zone with fun activities, more than 120 exhibitors and displays, a recycling display and much more.
Lexus of Las Vegas, along with other local automotive dealerships, will be displaying some of its Lexus hybrid vehicles in the festival’s Green Vehicle Zone.
