Chapman Chrysler Jeep to hold Pamper Your Pet event
In celebration of Adopt-A-Dog and National Pet Wellness month, Chapman Chrysler Jeep in the Valley Automall will hold its Pamper Your Pet event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 14. Hosted by Vegas Rock Dog radio, the fourth annual event brings back more than 25 local pet-focused businesses, food vendors, raffles and the highly anticipated pet Halloween costume contest.
Local pet adoption and rescue agencies will be on site, including A Home 4 Spot Animal Rescue, Heaven Can Wait Animal Society, My Foster Kittens and Lone Woof Rescue. This year’s event also will host Bunnies Matter, a local, volunteer-based organization educating the community and businesses about abandoned bunnies and how to make their lives better.
“We just love this event, and it keeps getting bigger and better every year,” said Gary Brewer, general manager of Chapman Chrysler Jeep. “Supporting local animal organizations and our pet-loving community is one of the causes closest to our hearts, so we excitedly open our showroom floor to hundreds of families and their furry friends.”
In true pet pampering spirit, participating vendor service offerings include Barkingham Palace Dog Grooming, Arr Ruff Ruff Dog Grooming, Ooh La La Pet Boutique and Sloppy Kisses. Grooming sessions aren’t complete without pet massages, and Animal Love and Logic will showcase services that bring physical and psychological wellness to both humans and pets.
Returning this year is Alicia Halloran, a certified clairvoyant healer who will be helping pet owners connect to their furry friends on a spiritual level through pet readings. All pet reading proceeds will be donated to the five adoption and rescue agencies at the event.
In addition, all pet needs from food to play will be present courtesy of PetSmart, Dog Supply Outlet, Wags N Whiskers General Store and more.
The ever-so-popular Halloween costume contest will be awarding the “Best Dressed,” “Most Original,” “Like Pet, Like Owner,” “Most Creative” and “Best Overall.” Attendees are encouraged to stop by the Chapman photo booth and take a picture to remember.
United Blood Services’ Bloodmobile will be on site to host a blood drive. Each person who donates will receive a Chapman Chrysler Jeep coupon for discounts on accessories, parts or service.
