Cadillacs Under the Stars draws crowd, classic cars at Village Square

Classic car shows never get old, especially as evidenced by Cadillacs Under the Stars presented Sept. 23 at Village Square.

Sponsored by Findlay Cadillac in the Valley Automall and presented by the Cadillac &LaSalle Club of Las Vegas, the event drew a field of 52 classic Cadillacs, along with many state-of-the-art new Cadillacs, during a four-hour event that included entertainment.

Cadillac and LaSalle Club of Las Vegas president D.R. Rawson said, “This is our first event here at Village Square. Based on the number of cars that have shown up, there will definitely be a second annual event. What sets this show apart for our spring Cadillac Through the Years is that we opened it up to everyone in Las Vegas that has a Cadillac or LaSalle badge.”

Rawson said the car show attracted about 2,000 enthusiasts. Vehicles ranged from a 1917 Cadillac Phaeton Convertible owned by Colin and Carole Christie to new 2018 models presented by Findlay Cadillac.

In addition, the entertainment included tribute artists such as Neil Diamond, Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, all from American Trilogy, which tours all over the nation.

The next Cadillac car show will be Cadillac Through The Years and is set for April 29 at Town Square.

The Cadillac Club meetings are held 7 to 8 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of every month at the Blue Ox at 5825 W. Sahara Ave.
