2017 XT5 crossover drawing big attention at Findlay Cadillac
The 2017 Cadillac XT5 luxury crossover has certainly met a big need since arriving at Findlay Cadillac about four months ago, according to sales consultant Ron Kolek.
Replacing the SRX which came out in 2010, the XT5 is being hailed for several reasons.
With seating for up to five, the XT5 has greater interior cargo room, hands-free power lift gate, sliding reclining rear seats with greater leg room and wireless charging for a cellphone.
Available models include the Luxury, Premium Luxury and the Platinum. The XT5 features a 3.6-liter V-6 engine with 310 horsepower and 271 pounds of torque. It also comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Available safety features include surround vision rear camera on the mirror along with the Driver Assist package that is highlighted by adaptive cruise control, automatic parking assist and automatic safety belt tightening.
A Driver Awareness Package features forward collision alert, following distance indicator, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, front pedestrian braking, Intellibeam headlamps and front automatic braking.
Kolek lauds the 2017 XT5.
“People like the versatility of the XT5,” he said. “The design and the technology package is bar-none and its size is perfect for everything from grocery shopping to cross-country trips.”
Kolek said small families also like the XT5, which is priced from about $38,995.
Cadillac buyers are also very loyal.
“The Cadillac name keeps customers returning,” said Kolek.
“Cadillac has seen its buyers get younger. Updated design, enhanced technology and versatility are big factors in the change.”
Kolek also said the history of Findlay Automotive Group continues to draw a strong following.
“This is a family-owned business,” Kolek said. “The people here take care of their employees and their customers. That philosophy has been a part of the family for several decades.”
