2016 Infiniti Q70 Premium Select Edition to makes its debut at Park Place Infiniti
Just when drivers thought the Infiniti Q70 couldn’t get any better — with the 2015 Q70L model adding even more performance to its 5.6-liter V-8 engine now producing 416 horsepower — here comes the 2016 Infiniti Q70 Premium Select Edition.
The newest Q70 Premium Select Edition enhances the stretched-out sedan’s sporty design, while increasing its luxury and comfort.
The specially equipped Q70 premium sedan will be available at Park Place Infiniti beginning in December.
“The 2016 Infiniti Q70 Premium Select Edition is really what this brand is all about,” Park Place Infiniti General Manager Joe Tortomasi said. “This model defines high-performance luxury that meets the needs of the modern driver. It embodies the high standards of excellence our drivers have come to expect.”
This sedan is imbued with eye-catching curves on the outside, luxury craftsmanship inside and high-powered kick under the hood, Tortomasi said. For 2016, dark chrome trim outlines the Q70 Premium Select Edition.
The exterior also offers a darkened lower rear bumper, a rear deck-lid spoiler, unique design and color, as well as 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with all-season performance tires.
Getting behind the wheel with this model’s unique semi-aniline leather seating in a choice of graphite or stone with contrast piping is as gratifying as slipping into a favorite leather jacket.
Luxury is all around, with a suede-like headliner, aluminum interior trim, illuminated kick-plates and floor mats.
One element that sets this sedan apart from rest is the rear-seat comfort. Passengers enjoy 41.8 inches of legroom. That’s nearly 6 inches more than the standard model, and it is the result of a new 120.1-inch wheelbase (compared to 114.2 for the standard Q70). No other luxury brand offers such a long-wheel-base sedan, Tortomasi said.
For rear-seat passengers, this upgraded 2016 Q70 offers five leather and wood trim combinations and heated seats. In front, 10-way power-adjustable seats are climate-controlled.
The 2016 Infiniti Q70 Premium Select Edition keeps the most advanced technology features with the navigation system featuring voice recognition, NavTraffic and NavWeather.
Tortomasi said Infiniti was the first to offer the Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, and that’s here, too, along with front and rear sonar to make parking easier.
When it comes to performance, Infiniti is never short on options. The brand already offers four versions of the Q70L, two of which are equipped with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. Choose between a 330-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 and a 416-horsepower, 5.6-liter V-8. Both engines are paired with seven-speed automatic transmissions.
Infiniti drivers also get the added luxury of standard Infiniti Connection telematics service, which includes the Infiniti Personal Assistant. That’s a personal round-the-clock concierge service.
