J.C. Wooloughan’s to host concert series
J.C. Wooloughan’s Irish Pub at the JW Marriott, 221 N. Rampart Blvd., will present an outdoor concert series this summer. Concerts are scheduled for 9 p.m. June 1 and 2, July 13 and 14 and Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. Tickets, which are $10, include a pint of beer; the final weekend will be an anniversary celebration with food and toasts. …

To celebrate July 7 (7/7/07) as the luckiest day of the year, the Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group has created a signature cocktail, the Strawberry Hardway, named for the blackjack hand. A summery blend of Chinaco Silver, lemon juice, fresh strawberries, balsamic creme — and, reportedly, a dash of luck– it will be available at all local Puck restaurants from June through August. …
Williams-Sonoma at 1001 S. Rampart Blvd. has scheduled two free cooking demonstrations. Chef Saul Garcia of Z’Tejas will present a demonstration from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. And Chef Cindy Craddock of Cin City Cuisine will present a demonstration themed “Grilling for Father’s Day” from noon to 3 p.m. June 9.
