Gold Coast offers ‘Take It or Trade It’ promotion

It’s “Take It or Trade It” all month at the Gold Coast. Every Thursday at 7 p.m., the casino will draw 10 winners who will choose between a guaranteed $500 or the chance to pick one of five envelopes containing $100, $200, $1,000, $2,500 or $5,000. Players can earn entries each week from 12:01 a.m. Monday through 6:30 p.m. Thursday at slots, table games, bingo, keno or in the race and sports book.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, beginning June 8, Fiesta Rancho, Texas Station and Santa Fe Station will each draw 45 names to receive prizes ranging from $10 in free slot play to $2,000 cash. Winners need not be present at the drawings, but have until midnight to claim their prizes. Entries can be earned at the machines or at the tables, live poker or bingo.

Green Valley Ranch table game players (including poker) can earn tickets all month for two $5,000 drawings. At 6:30 p.m. June 15 and June 30, the casino will draw for seven cash prizes between $500 and $1,500. Winners have until midnight to claim their prizes but will receive an additional $100 if they are present at the drawing. Table game players earn one entry for every $10 average wager per hour at the tables, and poker players earn one entry for every hour of active play. Entries must be activated the day of the drawing at a kiosk or the Rewards Center.

On Sunday, the Fiesta Henderson will give away a Bingo Scene Investigator dauber to all bingo players, while supplies last.

Throughout June, Plaza Play Club members can pick up a scratch card for every 500 points ($500 coin-in; no point redemption required) earned on their cards. We were told that every scratch card is a guaranteed cash winner, but we do not know the minimum or maximum. Cards also can be earned at blackjack, live bingo, live keno or in the race and sports book.

The El Cortez is giving away Bill Blass Hawaiian shirts (choice of size and colors, while supplies last) this month to all players hitting a $200-plus slot or $300 video poker jackpot. Don’t like Hawaiian shirts? Then you can pick up a $10 Mobil/Exxon, Arco, Shell, Walgreens, Sears, Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club or Smith’s gift card instead.
