Fresno State’s late uprising sends Rebels to baseball loss

Kevin Viers hit a three-run homer to help Jimmy Lambert pick up his 10th win of the season as Fresno State notched a 7-2 victory over UNLV in a Mountain West baseball game Saturday at Wilson Stadium.

Lambert (10-0), a junior right-hander, held the Rebels (22-28, 12-14) to one run on five hits and two walks and struck out five in seven innings as the Bulldogs (35-17, 21-8) won their fifth straight and ninth in 10 games.
