Immunization clinics scheduled for Aug. 21-28

The Southern Nevada Immunization Coalition and its partners will host back-to-school immunization clinics between August 21 and August 28 to vaccinate children against several diseases including mumps, hepatitis A and B, and varicella (chicken pox) and provide the Tdap inoculation against bordetella pertussis (whooping cough), which children entering the seventh-grade in are required to receive.

The immunizations are being provided at no cost to students in Clark County.

The Clark County School District requires all school-age children to have their immunizations up to date for the new school year.

Parents should bring shot records for each of their children to the clinic. If a parent cannot find or does not have the necessary record, staff with Nevada WebIZ will be present to look up the child’s immunization history and provide a copy of the shot record if needed.
