Race 2 – 6 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, 2-year-olds
2 Rockin Harbor – You’ll have an edge on me having seen 1 dirt race; saves ground and grinds it out in the stretch.
8 Ultimate Question – His 1 dirt race was good at Fairplex; big rider switch to Corey Nakatani for the money shot.
Long Shot – 1a Fuerte Royal
Race 3 – 1 mile (turf), Purse $28,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
10 Valley Cat – Has shown good tactical speed in 3 turf starts; lost by a head bob in last in a gallant effort.
1 Jonas Brother – Calder shippers historically have done well in SoCal; like that the maestro Jerry Hollendorfer will train.

9 Always a Princess – Bob Baffert figured she was better off on dirt in her last 2 starts; like the turn back in distance.
