The D Las Vegas offers refunds on bets on Packers

The D Las Vegas is offering refunds to Packers bettors after Green Bay’s controversial loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night.
Fans were outraged by a call by replacement referees allowing a touchdown catch in the final seconds and giving the Seahawks a 14-12 victory. The call was upheld Tuesday by the NFL.
Until that moment, most Packer bettors thought they were holding winning tickets. Most of the bets at Las Vegas sports books were on the Packers, who were favored by 3 to 3½ points.
"I fully understand the importance of the Monday Night Game to our city as well as every Packer supporter across the nation and I just can’t accept this outcome," Derek Stevens, the owner of the downtown casino formerly known as Fitzgeralds, said in a statement explaining the decision.
"If you’re up, you’re going to press it and if you’re down, it’s the bailout play and personally, I’ve been in each situation. I just can’t imagine a worse outcome than what occurred Monday night. I’m so disgusted that we are going to refund every bet made on the Packers at the D. I know exactly how it would feel if I was laying the number and I saw what happened."
Refunds on all straight bets and all money line Packer bets can be claimed at the cashier’s cage at the D by Sunday, according to the release. Bettors must present their ticket at the cage. Only bets made at the D Las Vegas will be refunded.
