Today we have two reader finds, both Progresso products and both involving clams. Clearly, Taste of the Town readers like their Progresso clams.

For Helen Brown, who’s looking for sugar-free bread-and-butter pickles, Eileen de Doelder reported finding Mt. Olive at Vons at 1940 Village Center Circle, and she also recommended a recipe she found at Food.com: Combine 1 thinly sliced medium cucumber (unwaxed are best), 2 thinly sliced small sweet onions, ¾ cup Splenda, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon celery seeds, ½ teaspoon mustard seeds and ½ cup vinegar in a microwave-safe bowl (pouring vinegar on last) and microwaving, uncovered, on high for 4 minutes. Stir, then cook 3 to 4 minutes longer, until bubbly and cucumber and onions are crisp-tender. Cover with plastic wrap, cool on a rack and, when cool, refrigerate overnight. …
More on huckleberry ice cream: Kathie Craig Pearson emailed to say that while the Tillamook Mountain Huckleberry ice cream recommended in this column last week is good, it’s huckleberry swirl in vanilla ice cream. For ice cream that’s all huckleberry all the time, she recommends Wilcoxon’s Ice Cream in Livingston, Mont., at wilcoxonsicecream.com (406-222-2370). …
Here are more reader requests.
