Sahara Avenue reopens after Egg and I crash cleanup

West Sahara Avenue between Decatur Boulevard and Arville Street has reopened to traffic following an investigation and cleanup of an accident that sent 10 people to the hospital.

According to Las Vegas fire officials, a car slammed into the Egg and I restaurant, 4533 W. Sahara Ave., about 12:30 p.m., sending 10 people to the hospital with serious injuries.

Sahara Avenue was reopened just before 7 p.m. Monday night after being shut down for over six hours.
