30-year-old motorcyclist who died in crash identified

The motorcycle rider who died Tuesday evening after a one-vehicle accident has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Las Vegas resident Franklin Savoy Jr., 30, was traveling north on Oso Blanca Road near Kyle Canyon Road at about 6:30 p.m. when he went off the road at a curve. He hit a chain-link fence and was thrown off his Yamaha motorcycle.

Savoy was pronounced dead at the scene.
