Pedestrian struck, killed by charter bus in North Las Vegas

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a bus Thursday morning in North Las Vegas.

He died at the scene of the 5:30 a.m. crash near the intersection of Cheyenne Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Part of Cheyenne Avenue was closed for about five hours.

The Clark County coroner’s office will release the identify of the deceased and his cause of death.
