Woman killed in Kingman crash identified

The victim of a single-vehicle traffic accident in northwest Arizona over the weekend has been identified as Vanessa Norbert, 28.

The Department of Public Safety said the Kingman woman was eastbound on Interstate 40 when she lost control of the vehicle she was driving on Interstate 40 at 11:16 p.m. Saturday.

The 2000 Ford crossed the eastbound lanes and rolled on the shoulder of the freeway, according to police.

Norbert died after being thrown from the vehicle.

The accident that remains under investigation.
